A decorative scheme can encompass walls and ceilings in their entirety, as well as, treatment to particular spaces and furnishings.

Coldoch House

This was a curved end wall in a drawing room. The client had ordered hand-painted silk curtains from China.I painted the wall to work sympathetically with these.
Cranbourne Gardens

Decorative treatment to the lower walls in the family Room, painted to ape the style on the Antique French cupboard. This involves a patterned background, a faux bamboo trellis, and little birds.
Trompe l'oiel Noticeboard

Trompe l'oeil Noticeboard, painted for the Client, including many chosen items, such as family 'photo's, local business cards and a shopping list.
Europa Hotel, Belfast

This Classical frieze was designed to run above the fitted seating in the V.I.P. Lounge in the Europa Hotel's nightclub.
Mickleour House, Perthshire

The Herons on the beautiful doors to the Long Gallery, overlooking the grounds, were chosen because the Heron is symbolised on the family Crest.
The ornate cornices were picked out in audacious colours which worked wonderfully with the rich brown walls.
Wheelans Bar, Dublin
This bar was in two distinct styles, being "Celtic" downstairs in the main bars, and "Classical" upstairs on the mezzanine floor.

This kind of detail often delights the customer, and brings interest into unexpected corners.

The client in this instance was the café owner who had a vision of what he wanted. I was asked to paint various "goddesses" in the sculpted plaster walls.
Draped Bedroom

An otherwise standard bedroom was transformed by painting draperies on the walls.
Royal George Hotel, Limerick

This series of paintings were executed off-site for installation in the Hotel Brasserie. The figures were adapted from the famous paintings by Mucha to give a Parisian café atmosphere.
